Changing Majors

Students can change majors at any time prior to enrollment. To assist in the freshman pre-registration process, however, we encourage students to submit requests before June 30. This will allow course selection appropriate to the desired major. Major change requests should be submitted in writing to the Office of Undergraduate Admission. The request can be sent by mail, fax, or email. Admissions will conduct a review to ensure continued compliance with course requirements. Students will be notified once the request has been approved.

If students want to change majors after classes begin, they will need to contact the
Registrar's Office for additional information and procedures.
